Going back to that question thing.
( Daily transport! )
Note the scenery in the background of this photograph. Now, if you are located in the northern hemisphere anywhere south of the Arctic Circle, look outside.
This gives you an idea of the time lag between taking the picture and getting around to posting this response.
It's entirely possible I'll be able to drag this out for an entire year. |

A list of the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded but you never actually crack the cover.
Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish. (I did both where I read the book in school, but I had already read it on my own beforehand.) Put an asterisk * next to the ones you'd read again or recommend to someone, even if you originally read them for school.
Added by me: Since this is the list of the top "unread" books, I'm going to add a # to the ones that I own but haven't read yet.

Cities I spent a night in in 2007.
Detroit, MI. Sudbury, ON Upsala, ON Winnipeg, MB Brooks, AB Vancouver, BC Portland, OR Salt Lake City, UT Denver, CO Chicago, IL Montreal, QC Pòtoprenz, Haiti Kapayisyen, Haiti
Not included are the campsites in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, since they don't technically count as cities. (Mind you some of the places list above are more accurately "towns" rather than cities, but whatever.) |

| 2007 LJ re-cap |
[Dec. 31st, 2007|06:38 pm] |
January: Getting cameras poked in places heretofore unexplored by man.
February: Workplace stories.
March: Mostly bitching and going WTF about various stories in the news.
April: Lots of posts I never finished.
May: Yahoogroups are bastards. ([EDIT] Axel just pointed out that I went on roadtrip of doom that month. I pointed back that while this is true, I failed to make even one post about it.)
June: Multiple accidents.
July: Bitching about pollution, recovering from various parties and roadtrips, and yet more accidents.
August: House Tetris(phrase copyright Miss J) and the resultant getting rid of stuff.
September: My meat-suit issues gang up on me and I briefly lose my shit. Shit is gradually regained.
October: Pics of my house.
November: NaDruWriNi and Haiti.
December: Finally posting pictures I solicited last September, and lots of randomage.
Why do you read this again? |

Book Shelf(s) would be nice
( Nice (or not) bookshelves )
As you can tell we don't actually keep all of our books on the bookshelves. That's because most of our books live in boxes.
The plastic behind the bookshelves is an attempt to keep the drafts out. And the boxes of crap in front of the book cases is stuff we are sorting out to put in more boxes. |

Comment on this post. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

I finally stumbled across the content generator I was trying to find.
"Ask me to take a picture of any aspect of my life that you're interested in/curious about - it can be anything from the house I live in to my favorite shoes. Leave your choice here as a comment, and I will reciprocate by taking the pictures and posting them as an LJ entry. That way you get to know a little bit about my life."
Responses will be a while, since the camera is still at the shop, but it's supposed to be fixed by next week.
I just finished watching Team America: World Police. I've never seen a movie that parodied an entire country before. |
